ATV Rentals/Tours
An ATV is a great way to explore from Mal Pais and Santa Teresa area to the beaches of Hermosa, Manzanillo and all the way to Cabuya and the Montezuma Waterfalls. It’s also a great way to commute around town on paved and unpaved roads, just driving through town is an epic memory of your time in Santa. We can also arrange a guided group tour if you don’t feel like exploring by your own.

Take a boat ride to a near by island, famous for it’s turtle shape, Tortuga Island offers Snorkeling, Scuba Diving and different water activities. The tour includes lunch on the beach, departing from the fishermans village in Mal Pais, we can arrange transportation too.It is a great way to see the Nicoya Peninsula from the water, a fresh perspective of the jungle paradise where you are staying! Curu Wildlife Reserve
A true hidden gem, so often overlooked this Reserve is exploding with local flora and fauna. With a variety of hiking trails ranging in length this is a great place for the whole family. It is on the coast so after jungle trails you can relax on the secluded beach. They plant native species in the gardens and engage in reforestation projects with local organizations. Cabo Blanco National Park
Did you know Cabno Blanco is Costa Ricas first National Park? The park is located on the very tip of the Nicoya Peninsula with multiple hiking trails of varying lengths. Great fun for the whole family. The longest trail, 10 km round trip, leads to a secluded beach where you can picnic at the tables provided and go for a swim! You are sure to spot many tropical birds, monkeys and other wildlife in the dense forest.

Waterfall Expedition
We have two incredible waterfalls in our vicinity where you can play for the whole day! Family friendly with multiple pools. Up for the adventure? Cliff diving for the bold and brave too! Montezuma Waterfall is a popular spot, we can arrange a guided tour or transportation or share with you the secret spots if you want to adventure solo. A great day expedition from Selva Resosts.

Whale Watching Boat Tour
The Nicoya Peninsulas nutrient rich waters make it a breeding ground for multiple whale species.
